Dorothy Inez Cunningham, 87, Wallace, died 10:45 pm Thursday in St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Cunningham was a homemaker and farmer. Her memberships included Charter Member, Wallace-Jackson Township Golden Circle Senior Citizens Club, where she was first president, former member of Fountain County Historical Society, Fountain County History Book, where she served as the Jackson township chair person in 1983, Wolfe Creek Community Church, 27-year member of Chariot Rebekah Lodge 517, Wolfe Creek Ladies Aide Society and Fountain County Farm Bureau. She attended Wallace schools. She was born Nov. 22, 1916, at Fountain County, to William A. and Lucy D. Myers Miller. She married Charles Cunningham Feb. 6, 1939, at Wallace. He died Aug 22, 1969. Survivors include three daughters, Sally Cunningham, Wallace, Kay (Max) Everett, Hillsboro, and Mary Jane Zachary, Early, Texas; five grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; five great-grandchildren; and six great-stepgrandchildren. One son, Merrill Leland, one sister, Jewell Mellert, and one brother, Leland Orville Miller, are deceased. Graveside services are scheduled 2 pm Monday in Wolfe Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Lester Niles officiating. There will be no calling hours. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
